Ohio Natural Energy Foundation

Since 2007, one of the goals of the Ohio Natural Energy Foundation has been to cultivate the future workforce of Ohio’s energy sector, with a special emphasis on granting scholarships to students with career goals in the natural gas and oil industry.

The generosity shown by donors has allowed these young men and women to achieve their career goals in our industry, and in doing so foster the next generation who will explore, develop, and produce essential energy resources that power our lives.

The recipients of our scholarships are some of the brightest students in the country and are selected through a detailed process by our Scholarship Committee. Applicants are selected based on their career choice, essay, academic achievements, letters of recommendation, and other special recognitions to ensure we are investing in the brightest students ready to embark on fulfilling, long-term careers in the natural gas and oil industry. Applicants must be residents of Ohio, or alternatively, a student planning to attend or currently enrolled in an accredited Ohio college, university, technical, or trade school.
