FACILITY OPERATOR

Minimum Education Requirements: Certificate, Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree. Multiple years of related experience may be required.

Facility Operators oversee natural gas plants, processing and refining operations. Responsibilities may include operating natural gas or liquid pipeline and/or compressor stations. They provide daily checks and basic maintenance of equipment. They also monitor gauges, valves and alarm systems using computers and in some cases closed circuit screens.
