GEOPHYSICIST

Minimum Education Requirements: Bachelor or Master Degree in Geophysics.

Geophysicist study the earth using gravity, magnetic and seismic methods in order to identify specific rock formations that have the potential to contain crude oil and natural gas. They may create 2D, 3D or even 4D maps and models of many geological rock formations. They help create fascinating images to map what we cannot see below the surface, which will then be used to predict the most effective and efficient drilling locations.
